Join Mount Hope UMC for a "day on, not a day off" as we come together to serve our community. All are welcome to participate in these events—service projects are designed for ages 2 to 102!

Event Schedule
Saturday, January 17: GROW

8:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Volunteer at Bread of Life Distribution (Habbersett Hall). No sign-up required.

Sunday, January 18: LEARN

12:00 PM: “Gift of Life” Presentation in the Sanctuary. No sign-up required.
Monday, January 19: SERVE
-
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Variety of Service Projects in Habbersett Hall. No sign-up required.
New Items Needed:
-
Non-perishable food (must be in code for at least 3 months).

Peanut butter and Nylabones.
-
Christmas cards.
-
Fleece material (by the yard).

Gently Used Items Needed:
-
Kids and teen books.
-
Coats, hoodies, and blankets.
-
Hats, gloves, scarves, and eyeglasses.

Plastic grocery bags.
Service Project Stations
On Monday, January 19, join us at Habbersett Hall to work on the following projects:

Assembly Kits: Hygiene kits, Hot Chocolate mug kits, and coloring/activity kits.
-
Food Prep: PB&J sandwich making and Ziti dish making.
-
Crafting & Creating: Making fleece blankets, dog toy assembly, mural painting, and Play-Doh creation.

Outreach: Greeting card writing and knitting prayer squares.
-
Organization: Sorting children/teen books and designing reusable bags or water bottles.
