Missions Trips

As followers of Christ, we are called to serve him where we are, but also to go and serve in areas that have special need. Once a year, Mount Hope sends two mission teams to be the hands and feet of Christ in areas outside of PA for a week at a time.

Mount Hope Youth Mission Trip

Every summer, our church sends a team of youth to an area of need around the country to serve others and learn to know Christ more.

This year's trip was to Joplin, Missouri.  Our mission trip in 2015 is going to Lexington county South Carolina from July 3 to July 7th.  You must be in high school or entering 9th grade to be eligible for the trip.  If interested, please contact Elaine Faulkner at •610.715.0200

Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Trip

The Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC) of The United Methodist Church Youth/Adult Mission Team is an United Methodist based ministry that looks to include other faiths who are interested in missions.

The team is made up of team members from 9th grade (14 yrs.) through and including older adults. 24 hours of servanthood training is required before the trip so that we will be prepared to serve effectively and with a unified purpose.

Our purpose as a team is to spread the hope of Christ to all who cross our paths. We desire to be a team of servants that exhibit Christ like behavior through unconditional love; unselfish, joyful service, and as one body.

2015's Trip will be Hurricane Sandy Recovery in New Jersey: July 19-25.

If you want to register for an EPC Youth Mission Trip, please contact Debra DePrinzio -Youth/Adult Mission Team Coordinator, Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church • 215.919.9789
